Carbon Neutrality Initiative (CNI)
The UC President’s Bonnie Reiss Carbon Neutrality Student Fellowship Program funds student-generated projects that support the UC system’s goal to reach carbon neutrality by 2025. UC Riverside Students selected to serve as a CNI Student Engagement Fellow will work with the Office of Sustainability and staff to communicate about campus and UC‐wide sustainability goals and programs, to assess existing programs and efforts, and to engage more students in those efforts.
UCR Global Food Initiative (GFI)
The UC Riverside's Global Food Initiative (GFI) is addressing how to sustainably and nutritiously feed a world population expected to reach 8 billion by 2025. A total of six $4,000 fellowships will be awarded to both undergraduate and graduate students with projects focused on the initiative.
