Environmental Health & Safety and the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Sustainability is holding its First annual Sustainability Summit. Keynote Speaker(s)

Jon Paul Roberts, Ph.D. is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and LEED Accredited Professional. He is currently the Director of Building Science at CTG Energetics. Dr. Roberts is an instructor in the UCR Extension Sustainable Development and Green Building Design professional certificate program. He was previously an Adjunct Visiting Professor in Environmental Studies at Pitzer College and an Energy Consultant on several energy, water, and environmental projects. He has a Ph.D. in Building Systems Program from the University of Colorado, a Masters in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College. Dr. Roberts is also a Certified Electronics Technician.

Matthew St. Clair is the first sustainability specialist for the University of California's Office of the President, supporting sustainability efforts across the 10-campus UC system. Mr. St.Clair has a background in environmental policy and advocacy, working on international campaigns for Friends of the Earth Czech Republic and on renewable energy policy research at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Matt holds a Masters degree in Environmental Policy from UC Berkeley and a Bachelors degree in Economics from Swarthmore College.
