The responsibility to educate students to think critically about sustainability issues and solutions is embedded within the mission of the University of California. Fully understanding these issues is an increasingly interdisciplinary exercise, requiring that faculty and students form all academic backgrounds incorporate and address sustainability concerns into their area of study.
